KS1 Teacher | Year 1 & 2 Specialist | Local Primary Schools. Salary: £140 - £233 per day (Paid to Scale). Start Date: Immediate / Next Term. Job Responsibility

  • Deliver High-Impact Phonics
  • Plan and execute engaging, play-infused lessons in Numeracy and Literacy that meet National Curriculum standards
  • Create a classroom culture where 5-to-7-year-olds feel safe to take risks, ask questions, and celebrate their lightbulb moments
  • Use formative assessment to monitor early milestones, ensuring every child receives targeted support

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong understanding of systematic synthetic phonics (SSP) delivery
  • Energy and patience to manage a vibrant KS1 classroom
  • Valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • 100% commitment to Safeguarding
