Job Description:

We are seeking a KS1 Teacher for a flexible role in Leeds, available as either part-time or full-time. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a welcoming primary school that values creativity, inclusivity, and high-quality education.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • create a positive and nurturing classroom environment to support all learners
  • assess, track, and report on pupil progress to ensure continued development
  • work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to enhance learning experiences
  • implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a structured and inclusive setting
  • support students' social, emotional, and academic development

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • experience teaching in KS1 (preferred but not essential)
  • strong communication and classroom management skills
  • a creative and adaptable approach to teaching
  • commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • ability to work well within a team and contribute to the school community
