Job Description

KS1 Teacher – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Norwich and the surrounding areas, delivering high-quality learning experiences across Key Stage 1.

Job Responsibility

Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Follow school planning or adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
Assess pupil progress and provide feedback where appropriate
Work collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders
Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with UK based school experience
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
Strong classroom management and communication skills as KS1 Teachers
Adaptable and confident working across different year groups
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
