Job Description

KS1 Teacher – Full-time, daily supply from as soon as possible. These flexible opportunities are ideal for KS1 Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different primary school settings in Diss and the surrounding areas.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil progress
  • Assess and monitor pupil attainment, providing feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and adapt learning activities
  • Manage behaviour effectively and promote a respectful learning culture
  • Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times

Requirements

  • Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has recent experience teaching in KS1
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and adaptability
  • Is confident delivering the national curriculum and supporting varied learning needs
  • Has a clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
