Job Description

Key Stage 1 (KS1) Supply Teacher | Infants Specialist | Local Primary Schools. Join our local primary network as a Key Stage 1 Supply Teacher and inspire young learners during their most formative academic transition. Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for the foundational years of primary education? We are seeking energetic KS1 Teachers to provide expert cover across Year 1 and Year 2. Weekly Pay: Competitive daily rates of £100 - 160 per day, paid every Friday via Randstad.

Job Responsibility

  • Adaptive Lesson Delivery: Facilitate engaging lessons in Literacy, Numeracy, and Science
  • Bridge the Gap: Support Year 1 pupils transitioning from play, and guide Year 2 pupils toward the independence required for Key Stage 2
  • Classroom Management: Quickly build rapport with new classes, using positive reinforcement
  • Flexible Expertise: Step into different school cultures and immediately implement the day's plan

Requirements

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification
  • deep understanding of the Year 1 and Year 2 National Curriculum and the social-emotional needs of infants

  • holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
