Job Description:

KS1 Supply Teacher | Flexible Daily & Short-Term Cover. Do you love supporting young learners as they build their early literacy and numeracy skills? We are looking for KS1 Supply Teachers to provide engaging and reliable cover within our friendly primary schools.

Job Responsibility:

Cover Year 1 and Year 2 classes
deliver lessons planned by the class teacher
keep pupils engaged
maintain classroom routines
ensure the learning day runs smoothly in the teacher's absence

Requirements:

QTS
recent KS1 teaching experience
strong behaviour management
ability to quickly build rapport with young learners

Nice to have:

121 teaching experience
communication
effective discipline
empathy
engaging
EYFS experience (foundation years)
FMS experience
good behaviour management skills
good classroom management
good communication skills
key stage 1 experience
key stage 2 experience
knowledge of curriculum
motivated
nursery experience (ages 3-4)
PPA teaching experience
reception experience
SEN experience
SIMS experience
teaching assistant experience
using school software
years 1-6 experience
