Job Description

We are working with a primary school in the Battle area that is on a clear journey of improvement and is seeking committed KS1 or 2 Teachers to be part of that progress. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who are passionate about raising standards and making a meaningful difference in the classroom.

Job Responsibility

  • Teaching within KS1 or 2
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including some challenging behaviours
  • Establishing clear routines and strong behaviour management strategies
  • Contributing to a positive and improving school culture

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
  • Be resilient, confident and consistent in managing behaviour
  • Have a strong understanding of KS1 curriculum and phonics
  • Be committed to raising attainment and pupil outcomes
  • Be proactive, adaptable and a strong team player
  • Have a DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
  • Have UK classroom experience
