Job Description

AK Teaching are looking for 5 dedicated teachers to join their team in Peterlee. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in running their own class supported with a Teaching Assistant.

Job Responsibility

  • Teacher to deliver educational programs
  • Provide support and encouragement to students to help them achieve their learning goals and thrive in the classroom
  • Promote an engaging classroom environment
  • Adapt learning materials to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Work collaboratively with SLT, parents, and other staff members

Requirements

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service is required, or applicants must be willing to apply and pay for one through AK Teaching
  • Willingness to work with a wide range of ages, as and when required
  • Relevant qualifications QTS
  • Relevant experience in a similar setting is highly desirable
