Kotlin Backend Engineer Job Description

Job Responsibility:

Design and implement server-side applications that handle complex data and integrate with various systems
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that enhances our ability to provide exceptional financial services

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in backend development with Kotlin
Experience with functional programming and design patterns
Familiarity with frameworks and libraries such as Akka, Play, or Spring Boot
Strong understanding of database management and performant SQL
Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and integrating with external APIs
Solid understanding of software engineering practices and agile methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
