Job Description

Participants will accurately identify and label conversational events within recorded audio files. Each recording features a user interacting with a voice assistant. These interactions typically include an initial request, a response from the assistant, and sometimes follow-up questions. Participants will carefully listen to each recording and apply precise, time-stamped labels to identify who spoke and when according to detailed project guidelines. Accuracy and consistency are critical to the success of this work. Purpose: This project will help train and evaluate advanced speech recognition models.

Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in one of the target languages, with strong listening comprehension and familiarity with regional speech patterns and accents
  • Ability to pass the OneForma Certification and KYC verification
  • Successfully pass practice tasks within the client’s annotation tool before production work begins
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured linguistic and technical guidelines
  • Strong analytical and listening skills with the ability to distinguish multiple speakers
  • Access to a reliable computer and stable internet connection
  • Ability to work with audio that may include background noise or overlapping speech
  • Availability to complete assigned tasks within project timelines
  • Comfortable using web-based tools and applying time-stamped labels to audio events
  • Hardware: Microphone and headset are needed

Nice to have

Previous experience in annotation, transcription, linguistics, or data labeling is a plus, but not required
