We’re excited to be opening a brand new bakery in the beautiful cathedral city of Wells, and we’re looking for an exceptional team to help us bring a true taste of Cornwall to Somerset. Here at the Cornish Bakery, we want to redefine what a bakery is, does and can be. At our heart we are for and about people, a part of the local community. Our purpose is to nourish people. For us it has always been about the food & drink and the way we make people feel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Successfully lead baking and food production in a high-end bakery
  • Prepare top-quality products for a busy bakery
  • Adhere to the highest food hygiene standards
  • Place orders and process deliveries
  • Training other team on food preparation
  • Make the World’s Best Coffee
  • Drive high standards at all times
  • Assist the Management Team with operating the bakery

Requirements:

  • Eligible to live and work in the UK
  • Experience leading baking and food production in a high-end bakery
  • Experience preparing top-quality fresh food
  • Adherence to highest food hygiene standards
  • Ability to place orders and process deliveries
  • Ability to train others on food preparation
  • Ability to drive high standards
