Job Description

You are searching for a role that balances your passion for great food with time for a life away from work. Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate food and beverage services, ensuring they are delivered as planned while allocating duties to team members and addressing concerns from staff and clients
  • Implement Whiddon’s Food Safety Plan and monitor compliance with safe food practices
  • Lead the catering team in food safety and dining services
  • Drive special events like theme days and cooking clubs
  • Support senior staff in evaluating food services by reviewing client complaints, minimizing wastage, and adjusting menus to better meet client needs.

Requirements

  • A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Diploma in Hospitality Management, or equivalent
  • Strong People Management Skills to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Budget Management Expertise to ensure financial accountability and optimize resource allocation
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and computer skills
  • A general understanding of the principles of person-centred care.
