Job Description:

Kitchen Support Experts play an important role in support of several hotel functions. These associates may work across departments to support cleaning and basic kitchen preparation needs. Whether preparing fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests to enjoy, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, or transporting dishware across the hotel, these associates do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Job Responsibility:

Support cleaning and basic kitchen preparation needs
Work across departments (kitchen, food and beverage, employee dining room)
Prepare fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools (dishwashing machines, hand wash stations)
Transport dishware across the hotel
Follow company and safety policies
Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries
Complete safety training
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
Maintain confidentiality
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge guests
Speak professionally
Develop positive working relationships
Support team goals
Ensure quality standards

Requirements:

No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
No related work experience required
No supervisory experience required
No license or certification required
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
