Job Description:

As a Kitchen Steward you will oversee the hotel back-of-house operation by ensuring proper maintenance of all operating equipment and dishwashing machines. You will provide the highest level of attention to the cleanliness and sanitation of all food and storage outlets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate dishwashing machinery to wash and sanitise crockery and kitchen implements
  • Clean and keep tidy the restaurants, kitchens and all food outlets within the hotel
  • Keep storerooms clean and tidy at all times
  • Ensure hygiene and health and safety standards are met at all times
  • Overseeing the smooth operation of the hotel's loading bay including relocating deliveries and waste disposal bins
  • Work with the kitchen to provide excellent service to our guests

Requirements:

  • Previous experience handling and working with chemicals
  • A passion for providing great service
