Job Responsibility

  • Follow recipes to prepare hot and cold meals for large groups
  • Help prepare special meals for residents who have specific health needs or diet orders
  • Drive a food delivery truck to bring fresh meals to different buildings across our campus
  • Make sure all food is stored and served safely, keeping an eye on expiration dates
  • Help keep the kitchen sparkling clean, including washing pots, pans, and large equipment
  • Answer phones and talk with your team to make sure everything runs smoothly

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Food Services) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Food Services Assistant
  • OR 0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Food Services) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Food Services Assistant
  • Associate's Degree (typically in Culinary Arts)
  • Valid driver's license to drive a food delivery truck
