Join our team as a Kitchen Steward supporting our culinary operations and ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment that helps deliver simplified, not simple experiences to our guests.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen, food preparation, and receiving dock areas
  • Wash, sanitise, and store all cutlery, crockery, glassware, silverware, and kitchen equipment
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment to ensure efficiency and safety
  • Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment including pots, pans, ovens, grills, fryers, and preparation areas
  • Ensure food storage areas, walk-in fridges, freezers, dry stores, and benches are kept clean and organized
  • Assist with buffet setup and breakdown in Food & Beverage venues
  • Support cleaning of associate dining areas
  • Dispose of waste correctly and maintain cleanliness of loading docks, rubbish areas, and bins
  • Report breakages, hazards, and incidents to the Head Chef or Senior Management
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and Work Health & Safety standards at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and follow instructions from the Head Chef and Management

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen stewarding or similar role is desirable
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks safely
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Valid working rights in Australia
