Job Description:

To support all selling channels with Kitchen Services knowledge and sales information and help customers in these channels to find the right services. To provide customers with well-designed, relevant complete kitchen solutions for the whole home by empathetically listening and understanding their living situations and life at home needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Explain and demonstrate the IKEA kitchen features and system and guide the customer through the kitchen planning/buying process, using my knowledge of IKEA’s services, such as delivery, assembly, installation, financial schemes
  • Know and understand the customers’ life at home needs, home furnishing trends and I use this knowledge to provide the best solutions for customers
  • To assist customers to plan their kitchens, based on their floorplans, site measurements and specific needs, using relevant IKEA tools
  • Taking an active interest in local kitchen competition, have a competitor price overview which helps to promote products in ways that best show our competitive advantage to customers
  • To assist the customer in the end-to-end experience, and ensure that they enjoy an excellent shopping experience at IKEA
  • Find new clients or new opportunities to generate sales
  • Drive sales to achieve the individual sales target
  • Work closely with the service provider teams to ensure smooth delivery and installation of IKEA kitchens
  • Proactively establish and maintain relationships with all major developer and corporate clients
  • Maintain contact with all clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Receives and resolves customer complaints and problems in timely manner

Requirements:

  • At least 2-5-year experience in interior design and application of the IKEA range
  • Understand Interior kitchen designing knowledge to discuss all aspects of creating, remodeling, or updating the kitchen areas in a safe and functional way
  • Ability to present yourself well in lengthy customer interactions paying attention to detail, listening attentively to customer needs and being flexible in your approach to provide inspiring solutions
  • Passion for selling IKEA Kitchens and complementary range
  • Good analytical skills
  • Patiently listen to, understand, and solve complex technical customer issues
  • Capable of working with different computer software systems and generally computer literate
  • Coordinate with appliance and worktop providers to ensure timely delivery for installation
  • Knowledge of the IKEA product range, including service products
  • Excellent conceptual and creative understanding of the IKEA range, with ability to combine products into coherent offers, and communicate these IKEA concept to customers
  • Positive personality. Fair, honest and trustworthy with excellent interpersonal skills, strong commercially creative sense, and good sense of humor
  • Flexible and adaptable when changes are made.
