Job Description:

IKEA Cardiff is looking for a Kitchen Sales Specialist to join their hardworking Sales team. The role involves planning and designing kitchens for customers, engaging with them to meet their needs, and supporting sales activities in the Kitchen Sales areas.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning and designing kitchens for customers with accurate plans
  • actively engaging with customers to identify their needs and advising on the best solutions for their life at home
  • supporting maximising sales by ensuring the Kitchen Sales areas are clean, fully stocked, products priced, well presented and easy to shop
  • communicating with customers through email, text and calls
  • conducting pre-appointment calls and continuing through planning and purchase of their kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a sales-oriented business, working closely with sales targets and customer conversion rates
  • skilled at forward planning, handling several tasks at once with ease
  • interest in people’s life at home, providing customers with personalized solutions
  • ability to take initiative, be open to change, find solutions to complex problems and communicate with customers
  • confident in learning and working with a variety of computer programmes, including Microsoft Office suite and Kitchen Planning Tools.
