Job Description:

Kitchen Production Manager responsible for managing high-volume restaurant operations, focusing on food waste reduction, team development, and maintaining IKEA's food standards while supporting business and sustainability objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Coach, manage, mentor and on-board new and existing team members
Ensure Global and National compliance standards and processes are implemented and followed
Maintain lean operations and inventory, concentrating on reducing food waste
Ensure compost/food waste programs are carried out responsibly
Ensure kitchen is always in optimal state and equipment is well maintained
Partner with the Commercial Restaurant Manager to further Business objectives
Support and contribute to the IKEA Retail Food Business plan and Sustainability Business plan
Stay up to date with product line and educate customers and co-workers on ingredients, allergens, and availability

Requirements:

3 years of work experience in managing a high-volume Restaurant (operations, budget, inventory, staffing, and team development)
At least 3 years of proven formal Leadership experience
Ideas for and experience implementing food-waste-reduction programs
Amazing attention for details and ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to strike up conversations easily
Passion for IKEA's food offering, products and design, and Sustainability commitment
