The Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is looking to recruit a Kitchen Porter on a casual basis who share a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. This is a casual position, offering flexibility to work shifts based on business needs. Hours may vary and can include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure each outlet and function has an adequate supply of clean dishes, glassware, and silverware
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and “heart of house” areas, ensuring a safe working environment
Oversee the day-to-day running of the pot wash and dishwasher areas for the kitchen and staff restaurant
Assist with the maintenance and proper handling of all kitchen and restaurant equipment and materials
Follow the hotel’s recycling and waste management policies
Support the Stewarding team in ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout back-of-house areas
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential – full training will be provided
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
A positive attitude and strong team spirit
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
