Kitchen Porter

• Washing, cleaning, and sanitising kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and equipment promptly and efficiently
• Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen floors, work surfaces, and walls to meet hygiene standards
• Assisting chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as required
• Managing waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring stock is organised and rotated appropriately
• Reporting any equipment faults or hazards to the kitchen supervisor immediately
• Adhering to all health and safety and food hygiene standards at all times

• Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings as required
• Good communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Basic understanding of health and safety and food hygiene practices (training provided if needed)
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods and carry out manual tasks
