Job Responsibility:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper procedures
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling guidelines including monitoring required temperatures and chemical levels
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, work areas, floors, and food preparation surfaces to meet safety standards
Keep dishwashing, food prep, and storage areas organized and compliant with regulations
Remove trash, clean waste containers, and properly manage kitchen waste
Receive, organize, and store deliveries in accordance with FIFO and quality standards
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas as needed
Assist with basic food preparation following established recipes and ServSafe standards
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations including AIB and company policies
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen including marijuana and background check
Ability to work independently and follow directions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively as a positive team member
Demonstrated ethical business practices
Nice to have:
Experience working in a commercial kitchen (preferred)
