Join White Rabbit Projects as Kitchen Porter – Support the Kitchen Team at Rusacks St Andrews. At White Rabbit Projects, great hospitality starts behind the scenes. At Rusacks St Andrews, one of Scotland’s most iconic hotels overlooking the Old Course, our kitchens support vibrant restaurants, bars, and event spaces delivering exceptional guest experiences every day. We’re now looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team and help keep operations running smoothly. If you’re energetic, dependable, and enjoy working as part of a busy team, this is a fantastic opportunity to start or grow your career in hospitality.

Job Responsibility:

  • Washing and organising crockery, cutlery, pots, and pans efficiently
  • Keeping kitchen and back-of-house areas clean, safe, and well-organised
  • Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required
  • Managing waste disposal and recycling in line with hygiene standards
  • Assisting with deliveries and stock storage
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness throughout service
  • Working closely with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams

Requirements:

  • Previous Kitchen Porter experience is helpful but not essential
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
  • Awareness of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
  • Willingness to learn and develop within hospitality
