As a Kitchen Porter, you will be an essential member of our catering team, supporting chefs and kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency in the kitchen. Your contribution will help us deliver outstanding dining experiences to our guests.
Job Responsibility:
Washing, cleaning, and sanitising kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and equipment promptly and efficiently
Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen floors, work surfaces, and walls to meet hygiene standards
Assisting chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as required
Managing waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations
Receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring stock is organised and rotated appropriately
Reporting any equipment faults or hazards to the kitchen supervisor immediately
Adhering to all health and safety and food hygiene standards at all times
Requirements:
Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings as required
Good communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Basic understanding of health and safety and food hygiene practices (training provided if needed)
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods and carry out manual tasks
