Job Description:

IKEA IRELAND is looking for two Kitchen Planners to join our Planning & Order Point in Cork. The role involves co-creating wonderful every day with our customers, focusing on kitchens and home furnishings.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide an exceptional shopping experience
  • Actively engage with customers to identify needs and inspire/advise on home furnishing solutions
  • Be passionate about the range and home furnishings, learn product stories and share with customers
  • Support maximising sales by ensuring area is clean, well-presented and easy to shop
  • Pro-actively interact with customers & provide excellent 1-1 customer service for sustained periods
  • Kitchen Planning & Designing for up to 2 hours with additional time for plans, worktop and installation quotations
  • Support with responding to customer emails, and securing payments both in-store and remotely
  • Call future appointments to secure bookings and provide measuring guidance
  • Support the kitchen co-worker team with opening/closing routines and general housekeeping
