Job Description

In this role, you’ll work within a 5-15k sq ft distribution center, will assist in leading the local warehouse operating team, and in some locations, includes preparing food in a light-prep kitchen, and help the Site Manager ensure we maintain high quality for our customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead: You’ll demonstrate compassion and commitment to inclusivity as you lead a team of hourly Operations Associates and Shift Leads
  • You’ll hire, coach and develop high-performing team members, while building a safety-first culture
  • You’ll serve as a leading change agent for your site, helping your team to navigate new initiatives and growth projects
  • You’ll tackle onsite escalations, including coordination with cross-functional partners
  • Operate: With your thumb on the pulse of all outcomes for your team, you will be directly responsible for driving results in one or more specific focus areas or a specific shift for your site
  • To achieve your performance targets, you’ll drive success through effective scheduling and by executing inventory management processes and deploying best practices from across the network
  • You’ll engage cross-functional partners as needed for support
  • Strategize: Within the focus area(s) assigned by your Site Manager, you’ll analyze data and make strategic recommendations and execute actions regarding resource allocation, workflow, warehouse organization and when to engage cross-functional partners
  • You may also lead some process improvement projects

  • You’ll coach and empower your team to provide a highly quality customer experience with every order

Requirements

  • You have 3+ years’ experience: In Operations, Warehouse Logistics, Customer Service, Retail Management, Fulfillment, or related field
  • You have 1+ years of experience managing a team
  • You have flexibility in your schedule
