The Food & Beverage Lead is responsible for overseeing all morning kitchen operations to ensure a high-quality breakfast experience for our guests. This role leads the morning culinary team, maintains Hilton brand standards, ensures food safety compliance, and supports a positive, efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and passionate about guest satisfaction.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise and lead the AM kitchen team during breakfast service
Ensure all breakfast items are prepared, presented, and replenished according to Hilton Garden Inn standards
Monitor food quality, freshness, portion control, and presentation
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
Complete opening kitchen duties and ensure smooth transitions between shifts
Train, coach, and support kitchen staff to maintain consistent performance
Manage daily prep lists, inventory levels, and ordering needs
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally when needed
Communicate effectively with Front Desk and F&B leadership to ensure seamless service
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
Requirements:
Previous kitchen or culinary supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge of breakfast food preparation and kitchen operations
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work early morning hours, weekends, and holidays as required
ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
