Job Description:

Casual opportunities for Kitchen Hands at Yakimono, an exuberant inner-urban Japanese eating house in the heart of the CBD, part of the Lucas Collective restaurant group.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and work areas
Provide assistance to the Chefs
Keep up with volume dishes while operating an industrial dishwasher

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand
Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment advantageous
Demonstrated organisational, time management skills
Must be able to endure the repetitive and physically demanding nature of the role
Available to work a rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays
OHS, food hygiene & safety understanding
Excellent communication & presentation
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
Possess a positive “can do” attitude
