Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Beverage preparation: prepare a variety of coffee, juices and smoothies
Espresso machine operation: operate the espresso machine proficiently
Customer service: provide excellent customer service
Menu knowledge: be well informed about the cafes menu offerings
Milk texturing: froth and steam milk
Cleanliness and maintenance: maintain a clean and organised work area
Quality control: ensure that the quality of beverages meets the cafes standards
Time management: manage multiple orders simultaneously
Customer interaction: engage with customers
Inventory management: keep track of coffee beans, milk and other beverage supplies
Training and development: participate in training sessions
Food safety and development: adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Breakfast service management: manage the daily breakfast delivery across multiple floors
Kitchen upkeep and maintenance: oversee the cleanliness and organisation of kitchen spaces on each floor

Requirements:

1-2 years’ experience working in specialty coffee
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Great time management
Ability to work through stressful situations
Excellent customer service
Basic computer skills using Google Suite

Nice to have:

Experience with stock, maintenance, reporting and ordering
Experience liaising with cafe’ supplies providers
