Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking in-home specialty remodeling professionals for the role of Designer/Sales Consultant. We offer unique custom products and services that are in strong demand. A new team member can expect to run 5 to 8 appointments (initial estimate) per week from our provided qualified leads. Your consultative efforts are solidly backed by a local business with an excellent reputation, and a national franchise system in business for over three decades. If you are willing to make a commitment to learn our products and processes, are friendly and personable; you will be a success. Our work is consistent year around, no worry about seasonality. This is a commission role with high closing rate and eligibility for benefits after 90 days. Commission upside potential is unlimited and uncapped! Job Responsibility:
Conduct the Kitchen Tune-Up sales process (training is provided)
Conduct scheduled "in-home" consultations, making presentations to homeowners
Confident to ask for the order, persistent in sales follow up, strong desire to win and succeed
Assembles a quote and related information to present to the customer with the goal of creating a sale
Revises quotes as customers’ wants and needs are assessed
Collaborates and communicates with sales manager on ongoing basis
Continues customer contact during the project and monitors all related activities
Cooperatively market your skills as an industry professional
Computer and smartphone proficient
Convert as many sales appointments as possible into sales (a minimum of 30% is expected)
Requirements:
Highly motivated, dependable, with strong work ethic
Attend KTU weekly sales coaching call
Optimistic, enthusiastic, and friendly attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional demeanor suitable to working in our client’s homes
Speak clearly using appropriate language and vocabulary
Strong negotiating skills
Participate in home/trade shows
Able to work days, some evenings and some weekend appointments
Must have reliable transportation
Nice to have:
Willing to develop account based business, such as interior designers, contractors, builders, and real estate firms
