Job Description

Coordinate the distribution of Banquet Event Orders and assist with Culinary Special Projects. Essential Job Functions: Print the Banquet Event Orders from Catering and Conference Services for distribution to all the departments. To check for defects so as to rectify any errors prior to distribution. Distribute the BEO to the respective kitchen sections and communicate to the chefs. Revert back to Catering Sales Manager for any menu challenges and resolve the issue. Read through all the information and highlight the details for the culinary division. Supply all the details of the function to the respective Culinary Dept Heads to ensure effective planning. Manage the 21-day forecast every Thursday, check events against actual/updated BEOs and update accordingly. To ensure that the Catering Sales Manager adheres to the BEO distribution and amendment timeline. Attendance at the BEO meeting daily. Ensure information from Catering and Conference Services is communicated to the Banquet Chef. To represent the Banquet Chef in his absence. Attend daily Chef meeting to give any last-minute details on the on-going event to the respective Chef. Assist in other administrative duties. Perform other administrative duties during the culinary AA's absence. Assist with culinary special projects. To provide lateral service as and when required within the department and/or other departments
