In readiness for increasing resident numbers we are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant. 40 hours per week, shifts will be 7:30am-6:30pm including weekend working work. £13 per hour regardless of age. Using fresh ingredients and produce and working with the residents to ensure they are provided with a tasty, safe, nutritious and varied top quality menu.

Job Responsibility

Assist in kitchen tasks connected with the preparation, cooking, presentation and serving of meals and beverages
Ensure a good standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining area
Carry out general kitchen and dining room duties, such as setting tables, washing up and serving meals to residents
Report and record any important information
Servery duties including basic meal preparation (Toast/Porridge/Eggs/Sandwiches etc), serving meals, tidying and cleaning tables
May include taking meals to residents' rooms and tidying away
May be required to carry out the tea round
