Our Kitchen Assistants/Team Members are responsible for preparing our food offering to the highest quality and standards. Their role is crucial in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation in the kitchen. Opening hours: from 10.00am to 2.00am from Monday to Sunday.
Job Responsibility:
Ensuring the kitchen is set up and ready for each service with the right amount of prepared Pasta Sauces and other ingredients
Wearing a full smart clean uniform to the brand standard
Ensuring the full Pasta Evangelists Standard is adhered to for product quality
Ensuring the kitchen is exceptionally clean and complies with all Health and Safety / Quality and Safety regulations
Keeping an eye on the Availability and informing the Team leaders and wider team in advance
Documenting and keeping a record of information on food as appropriate to company policy
Ensuring that all par levels are maintained
Ensuring any food wastage is recorded accurately
Utilising the SOP to maximise the quality and speed of food readiness
Ensuring temperature records are kept and correct procedures are followed for safe food handling
Ensuring all equipment is maintained to the SOP standard
Preparing and cooking food to the highest of standards
Ensuring all food is prepared quickly, in the correct order, to the How to Card standard
Checking deliveries into the Store and reporting any issues
Operating the wash-up area effectively and ensuring equipment is thoroughly cleaned
Using correct signage whilst cleaning is taking place
Ensuring that all rubbish is disposed of correctly
Reporting any equipment defects quickly
Ensuring that all close down kitchen procedures are followed
Regularly organising pest checks and reporting any concerns
Requirements:
Knowledge of safe food handling, storage, and preparation techniques to prevent foodborne illnesses (preferable)
Familiarity with basic culinary techniques such as chopping, slicing, dicing, and measuring ingredients
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
Meticulous and detail-oriented when it comes to food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen organization
Ability to work well as part of a team, communicate effectively with colleagues, and follow instructions from the Team Leader and/or Area Manager
Willingness to adapt to changing situations, work schedules, and tasks as required in a dynamic kitchen environment
