Requirements

Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant, Kitchen Porter, or in a similar role
A good understanding of manual handling techniques and safe working practices
Experience using a range of kitchen equipment
A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and teamwork
Must be 18 or over

Job Responsibility

Assisting with basic food preparation
Unloading and storing deliveries safely and efficiently
Maintaining cleanliness by emptying bins, sweeping, and mopping floors
Ensuring all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly
Deep cleaning fridges, storage areas, and other kitchen spaces to maintain hygiene standards
Operating automated dishwashers to clean crockery and utensils used by guests
Supporting with porter duties, ensuring all back-of-house areas are tidy and ready for the next event
