Job Responsibility

Food Preparation and adhering to cleanliness and Health and Safety regulations
Preparation and cooking of breakfast, lunch and evening meals and the preparing of sandwiches, sweets and snacks
Preparing plates, dishes and food trays to a high standard for the host to serve to our residents
Washing up after meals
Ensuring all crockery and equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately and that the overall cleaning of the kitchen area (and where appropriate the dining areas) is carried out effectively
Completing cleaning close down duties for the kitchen at end of day
Ensuring all equipment is clean and well maintained according to our specified standards
Checking and recording temperatures of food and equipment and keeping accurate records
Ensuring that food stores and fridges/freezers are adequately stocked and are clean and tidy
Helping with acceptance of deliveries and putting stock away
