Job Description:

Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria is looking for a Kitchen Laundry Technician who can receive intensive training in troubleshooting, technical procedures, and safety.

Job Responsibility:

  • The ability to follow proper payroll and uniform procedures
  • The ability to provide service under the supervision of the Chief engineer, and repairs as outlined in the Technical Skills List, for plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC, and refrigeration
  • The ability to provide piping and plumbing repairs and maintenance to HVAC water systems, pumping systems, kitchen and associated equipment throughout the entire building
  • The ability to install piping for renovations, plumbing fixture additions, water distribution and associated systems, utilizing torches, welders, pipe threading equipment etc
  • The ability to assist in providing preventative maintenance of all Laundry equipment and updating of appropriate logs
  • The ability to clean all stations in Engineering and maintain a neat and organized department
  • The ability to respond to all guest complaints regarding the maintenance of their room or public area in a timely manner
  • The ability to perform preventative maintenance in guestrooms and public areas

Requirements:

  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language is highly desirable
  • Two years Technical trade school or previous similar work experience with extensive kitchen equipments experience
  • High School graduate
  • Must posses superior safety and electrical diagnostic capabilities
