Job Responsibility:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Chef and culinary leadership team
Manage departmental schedules, meetings, and internal communications
Maintain and organize kitchen documentation including SOPs, hygiene logs, staff records, and recipe files
Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for kitchen supply orders, deliveries, and invoice follow-ups
Track and manage kitchen inventory including uniforms, equipment, and small wares
Support the onboarding and training processes for new culinary hires, including documentation and orientation coordination
Assist with the organization of internal kitchen events, tastings, and team activities
Maintain up-to-date records of health and safety documentation, HACCP logs, and sanitation audits
Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure smooth communication and kitchen operations support
Handle administrative tasks such as correspondence, printing, filing, and report preparation as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Culinary Administration, Business, or a related field preferred
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or kitchen coordinator role, preferably in a luxury hospitality or food service setting
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
experience with hotel or kitchen systems (e.g. BirchStreet, HACCP tools) is a plus
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
English fluency required, Arabic is an advantage
Professional demeanor with a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
Understanding of kitchen operations, culinary terminology, and health & safety procedures is highly desirable
Nice to have:
Arabic is an advantage
Experience with hotel or kitchen systems (e.g. BirchStreet, HACCP tools) is a plus
