Job Description

A premier manufacturer of custom filtration systems is looking for support in the continued expansion of their company. Randstad is seeking a Detail-Oriented Kit Picker and Order Picker to become a vital part of the warehouse and production support team. Job Responsibility

  • Pick and organize parts, hardware, and fittings into complete, job-specific kits
  • Rigorously verify part numbers, descriptions, and quantities to ensure 100% accuracy before materials reach production
  • Label, stage, and track kits to ensure a seamless and timely handoff to the fabrication teams
  • Proactively identify and report shortages, damaged items, or inventory discrepancies to purchasing and warehouse leadership
  • Maintain optimal stock levels of essential consumables, including fasteners, gaskets, valves, and fittings
  • Assist with bin organization, material receiving, and regular inventory cycle counts
  • Utilize ERP and inventory management software to process kit transactions and provide real-time status updates
  • Work closely with the planning, production, and fabrication departments to ensure all project deadlines are met

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly environment
  • Strong familiarity with mechanical hardware, including bolts, gaskets, pipe fittings, and related components
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and Bills of Materials
  • High level of accuracy and a sharp eye for detail in high-volume environments
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • direct experience with ERP or inventory management systems is a significant asset
  • Previous forklift experience or valid certification is considered a strong plus
  • A reliable, self-motivated worker capable of performing independently or collaborating effectively within a team setting

  • Provide inventory control by inspecting material for conformance to specs, cycle counting to ensure accurate inventory tracking, transferring material between projects, and kitting material to help keep jobsites organized and efficient
  • Assist with shipping processes such as picking items, staging pallets by project, repalletizing to maximize efficiency, inspecting pallets for accurate contents, weighing/ measuring/ wrapping pallets, and loading shipments on carrier vehicles in prioritized order to ensure on-time delivery
  • Safely operating power industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, order pickers, electric pallet jacks, stackers, and scissor lifts at work heights up to 40 feet - equipment training and certification are provided free of cost
