Job Description:

Gateshead Council's Kinship Team is seeking caring and dedicated individuals to provide loving homes for children within their extended family. As a Kinship Carer, you will play a vital role in providing stability, security, and nurturing to a child in need.

Job Responsibility:

Provide a safe, stable, and loving home environment for a child
Work collaboratively with the Kinship Team to develop and implement support plans
Attend regular meetings and participate in training opportunities
Maintain open communication with the child's birth family
Advocate for the child's best interests

Requirements:

A genuine desire to provide a nurturing home for a child
Ability to commit to providing long-term care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with professionals
