Job Description:

Join KidStrong of Alberta as the Area Manager for Edmonton and lead our mission to help Kids Win at Life! This exciting role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of families while overseeing multiple locations in the Edmonton area. Your primary role will be to offer support to the centre General Managers. You will also be an acting General Manager of one location, supported by an assistant GM and Lead Coach. The Area Manager is the leader of leaders. You will be instrumental in developing our leadership teams and guiding our success!

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily operations of KidStrong facilities in the Edmonton area
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance program delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Lead and mentor a team of General Managers and staff to ensure high-quality experiences
  • Manage budgets, sales targets, and financial performance of each location
  • Build strong relationships with parents and community partners to promote KidStrong
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Organize and participate in community events to increase brand visibility
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all locations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in management roles, preferably in the fitness or child development industry
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with a passion for child development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with families and staff
  • Ability to analyze data (KPI's) and make informed decisions to drive success
  • Relevant certifications in coaching, fitness, or child education are a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between locations
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to creating a fun, engaging atmosphere for kids
