KidStrong Summerlin is rapidly growing, and we're looking for a talented, enthusiastic Childrens Coach who is passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives.
Job Responsibility:
Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, age groups range from roughly 12 months old to 11 years old
Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team
Ensure classes both start and end on schedule and follow appropriate pace of curriculum
Greet students and parent(s)/guardian(s) individually prior to and at beginning of class
Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading class
Demonstrate and manage implementation of various exercises
Ensure cleanliness of the center, including lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors
Effectively use KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records for parents
Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack
Complete training through FranConnect as required by HQ Training and Certification team
Work in a physically intensive environment, may cover multiple miles in a shift and lift up to 25 pounds
Work hands-on with kids to ensure proper technique and safety
Assist parents of students ages three and younger
Attend monthly center staff programming meetings
Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required by KidStrong Director
Learn and manage Coach KidStrong Academy
Obtain certified status by HQ Training and Certification team
Requirements:
Passion for working with children
Prior experience coaching students within KidStrong age is preferred
Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on KidStrong curriculum
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics
CPR certified
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Self-starter who just gets a job done
Nice to have:
Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus but not required
