Job Description

KidStrong is a kids training program focused on building kids’ brains, bodies, and character from walking age through 11 years old. Our science-based curriculum is parent-focused and delivered by certified professional coaches. We help parents raise strong, confident, high character kids who are prepared to win at life.

Job Responsibility

  • Help children get smarter, stronger, and more confident
  • Work with kids and families
  • Deliver science-based, parent-focused curriculum

Requirements

  • Experience coaching or teaching children in the KidStrong age range (15 months–11 years)
  • Comfortable communicating with parents and explaining curriculum
  • Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
  • CPR certified (or willing to get certified)
  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, and reliable self-starter

Nice to have

  • Background in athletics, coaching, pediatric OT/PT, or early childhood development
  • Excited to work with great teammates

  • Coach classes for students with age groups ranging from walking to 11 years-old
  • Create positive interactions with students and families before, during, and after class
  • Maintain dynamic, fun, motivational. and professional demeanor when leading class
  • Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various programming and curriculum elements
  • Use the KS Coaches App to record data and provide data (attendance, awards, etc.)
  • Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack, including periodic checks of messages when not in centers
  • Coaches must have availability of a minimum of 6 hours per week
