Kidstrong Coach

• Coach students by delivering an evolving curriculum that focuses on Brain, Physical, and Character development up to 24 hours a week
• Achieve Coach Certification
• Understand the 'why' behind the KidStrong curriculum
• Coach classes for students with age groups ranging from roughly 15 months-old to 11 years-old
• Create positive interactions with students and families
• Maintain dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading class
• Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various programming and curriculum elements
• Use the KS Coaches App to record data
• Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack
• Ensure classes start and end on schedule
• Assist parents of students ages 3 and younger
• Lead monthly center staff programming meetings
• Complete trainings through LearnUpon
• Attend additional mandatory staff meetings
• Learn and manage KidStrong Camps

• Passion for working with children
• Athletic or coaching background
• Comfortable speaking to parents/guardians
• Positive, motivating public speaking and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Commitment to schedule
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• CPR certified
• Self-starter
• Must be able to work in a physically intensive environment
• Must be comfortable physically working with kids

Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus
