KidStrong is a kids training program that builds strong, confident and high-character kids. We help kids win at life by developing a strong body, mind and character through weekly 45-minute classes led by our expert coaches. As a Coach, you'll play a crucial role in delivering our dynamic curriculum and making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
Job Responsibility:
Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, age groups range from roughly 12 months old to 11 years old
Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team
Ensure classes both start and end on schedule and follow the appropriate pace of curriculum
Greet students as well as the parent(s)/guardian(s) individually prior to and at the beginning of class
Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading the class
Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises
Ensure cleanliness of the center, including the lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors
Effectively use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records of data for parents
Communicate professionally with co-workers in Slack
Assist parents of students ages three and younger with the direction and flow of a class
Attend monthly center staff programming meetings
Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required by the KidStrong Director
Learn and manage Coach KidStrong Camp
Requirements:
Passion for working with children is non-negotiable
Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age is preferred
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics
CPR certified
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Athletic or coaching experience
Experience coaching kids ages 12 months to 11 years old
Comfortable speaking to parents/guardians
Must be able to work in a physically intensive environment
Must be comfortable working "hands-on" with kids
Must obtain certified status by the HQ Training and Certification team
