Job Description

At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. KidStrong is a science-based kids training program that builds strong, confident and high-character kids. Kids walking to age 11 tackle challenges in weekly classes led by expert coaches. KidStrong Everett is looking for talented, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives.

Job Responsibility

  • Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, age groups range from roughly 12 months old to 11 years old
  • Teach the KidStrong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team
  • Must be able to ensure classes both start and end on schedule and follow the appropriate pace of curriculum
  • Greet students as well as the parent(s)/guardian(s) individually prior to and at beginning of class
  • Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading class
  • Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises
  • Ensure cleanliness of the center
  • Effectively use the KS Coach’s App to record class data and provide records of data for parents (attendance, awards, etc.)
  • Communicate professionally with co-workers
  • Complete trainings as directed
  • Assist parents of students, ages 3 and younger, with the direction and flow of a class
  • Attend monthly center staff programming meetings to receive training for next month's curriculum
  • Attend additional mandatory staff meetings as required by KidStrong Management
  • (Optional) Learn and manage Coach KidStrong Camp - special classes held by centers when local schools are not operating (for example: Winter Break, Summer Break)

Requirements

  • Passion for working with children is non-negotiable
  • Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age is preferred
  • CPR certified
  • Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-starter who just gets a job done

  • Must be able to work in a physically intensive environment - coaches may cover multiple miles in a shift moving through class, lifting and repeatedly moving equipment up to 25 pounds in weight
  • Must be comfortable working "hands-on" with kids to ensure proper technique and ensure student safety

  • Prepare recurring receivables reporting, including aging summaries, collection performance metrics, and cash forecast updates for management review
