Job Description

Camp-tiva is South Seas’ exciting kids programming experience, designed to inspire creativity, exploration, and fun through nature-based, hands-on activities. From beach adventures to arts & crafts, Camp-tiva provides a safe, engaging, and memorable environment for our youngest guests. The Kids Programming Attendant supports daily Camp-tiva activities and programming, ensuring a fun, safe, and welcoming experience for children and families. This role is ideal for energetic, responsible team members who love working with kids in an outdoor, resort setting.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and assist with age-appropriate games, crafts, and nature-inspired activities
  • Supervise children to ensure safety and positive engagement at all times
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program space
  • Assist with daily program setup, breakdown, and activity preparation
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with parents and guardians
  • Enforce program rules, safety guidelines, and resort policies
  • Represent the South Seas brand with enthusiasm and hospitality

Requirements

  • Experience working with children (camp, recreation, childcare, education, or similar) preferred
  • Energetic, positive, and engaging personality
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work outdoors and stay active throughout the day
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Fluent in English language
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend and stoop for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able work in different types of weather sometimes extreme, including high temperatures and humidity
  • Must be able to work Indoor and outdoor activities, including beach-side programming
