Job Description:

The Lead Kids Pastor is a contributing leader to the overall campus operation. The primary responsibilities include recruiting, leading, and developing a team of volunteers and connecting with families. Depending on campus size, the Lead Kids Pastor may have a team of staff members that he/she would be responsible for developing.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide leadership for all elements of CCV Kids
  • Identify volunteer leaders and bring them into the ministry
  • Be with people
  • Connect with families who are new to the Church and families that already attend the Church
  • Oversee all ministry areas within CCV Kids to ensure that all programming is executed well
  • Cast vision to parents regarding the resources that are available for them to lead their kids in biblical conversation and challenges at home
  • Ensure “CCV Kids How To Win” is at optimal level
  • Create a fun, engaging and healthy CCV Kids ministry
  • Work with Campus Pastor on building overall & kid’s attendance on campus
  • Lead team to make sure overall goals are being met
  • Uphold the vision of CCV Kids
  • Make connections with Parents and Leaders
  • Lead the CCV Kids Staff to lead through others
  • Hold CCV Kids staff accountable to goals and deadlines
  • Knowledge of Rock
  • Responsible for budget guidance regarding CCV Kids
  • Provide leadership to the CCV Kids team
  • Authority and responsibility for the supervision of employees
  • Input into the job status of other employees (e.g. hiring, termination, and promoting)
  • Weighted input into an employee’s performance review

Requirements:
