We are looking for an experienced teacher with a passion for inclusive education to lead our SEN provision while continuing their own classroom practice. This is a permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with school hours.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, manage, and develop the school's SEN provision in line with the SEND Code of Practice
Plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning to a primary class
Support, train, and advise colleagues on inclusive strategies and differentiation for SEN students
Manage and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring targets are met
Liaise effectively with parents, carers, and external support agencies
Track and analyse data to monitor the progress of students with SEN across the school
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
The National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO), or the commitment to complete it (with full support)
Proven experience as an effective primary school teacher
In-depth knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and a wide range of special educational needs
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
