This role is ideal for practitioners who love the 'Senior' end of primary school-where you can dive into complex history, advanced maths, and sophisticated literature-without the burden of data tracking, SATs accountability, or weekend marking. Junior Years Focus: Lead classrooms through the broad KS2 curriculum, fostering the stamina and critical thinking skills required for academic success. Your Role as a KS2 Lead As a Key Stage 2 Supply Teacher, you are a mentor and academic guide, maintaining high expectations for work and behavior. Dynamic Lesson Delivery: Facilitate lessons that challenge 'Greater Depth' learners while providing scaffolding for those who need extra support. Classroom Authority: Quickly establish rapport with older primary pupils, using a sophisticated and respectful approach to behavior management. Adaptive Teaching: Step into any Junior classroom and immediately identify the needs of the room, whether supporting Year 4 with times tables or Year 6 with comprehension. Collaborative Leadership: Work effectively with Year Group Leads and TAs to ensure the school's routines are followed and the day's learning objectives are met.
