Job Description:

A rewarding opportunity to nurture young minds. We're in search of an organised and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Cover Teacher to join a mixed-gender public primary school in Redhill, catering to ages 5-11. In this role, you'll provide cover on an ad-hoc basis, gaining invaluable experience and opening doors to potential long-term or permanent positions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet student's varying needs
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants when required
  • Manage situations where work isn't set or appropriate
  • Provide timely, clear, and concise feedback on completed work
  • Create a positive learning environment through effective classroom management

Requirements:

  • Valid DBS allowing work with children
  • Relevant qualifications, including a degree and teaching certifications (e.g., PGCE)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred
  • Essential primary teaching experience
  • Strong commitment and positive attitude towards the role and objectives
